Concept & History
La Fortuna opens its palatial doors for exclusive stays to show the splendor of its architecture and artwork, the warmth of its people, their respect for tradition and custom, and the care they take of birds, animals and plants that surround them.
Right away guests feel at home at La Fortuna. As you walk through the bright and airy residence, you immediately notice the large Windows, the majestic staircase and the noble materials used in the construction.
The Palace
Upon entering the French style palace, guests are greeted by an incredible marble staircase that invites them to explore the three floors which house the large bedrooms that sleep up to 16 people.
These rooms are true to the original elegant style of the residence but at the same time, they have incorporated modern comforts. In total there are 4 master suites and 2 bedrooms en suite with 3 twin-sized beds each.
Activities & Services
La Fortuna offers a wide range of activities for guests of all ages and interests, and the House Concierge is there to coordinate every last detail.
Indoor activities include billiards, movies in the screening room, games in the children’s playroom, reading in the library, tango lessons, wine tastings, musical shows and cooking classes.
Our People
Without a doubt one of the most outstanding aspects of La Fortuna is the friendly and experienced staff of 8 led by the House Concierge, a Chef, Housekeeping staff, gardener, laundress, and their very own gaucho Don Chazarreta who takes care of the horses and drives the antique carriages that are on the property.
La Fortuna is located in Salto, in the province of Buenos Aires, 200 kms from the city of Buenos Aires.
